Dead Rat Orchestra take their hollerin', howling, axe-wielding folk mayhem to the Cambridge Folk Festival on 26 July.

Henry Homesweet plays his first live show of 2013, but you'll need to travel to Turku in Finland to see it. He is taking part in the Ilmiö Festival with a whole bunch of bands I've never heard of, but I'm sure it will a fascinating cultural exchange.

The Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford has been collecting music, sound and instruments for over 100 years. On Saturday 20th July, the museum's composer-in-residence Nathaniel Robin Mann, Noel Lobley (sound curator, DJ, and ethnomusicologist), and Rupert Gill (DJ) curate an evening of sound, light and performance designed to transform and reveal the Museum galleries.

Saturday night at the Lightbulb Festival saw Nathaniel Robin Mann return to St.Martin's Church to treat the audience to one of the most memorable performances of his career.

Dorian Wood is performing with a 15-piece chamber orchestra at the MorYork gallery in Los Angeles. He has arranged songs from his new album Rattle Rattle specifically for this one-off performance.

Ok, so they are headlining one of the the smaller stages, but this is one of the biggest festivals on the international circuit and they are duking it out at midnight with Metallica, Chelsea Light Moving and Sigur Ros.
