Sealionwoman Waiting Room tour

Sealionwoman announce a two-date tour of venues called The Waiting Room. It might be questionable whether two shows separated by 10 days actually constitutes a tour, but fans of Britain’s laziest band are unlikely to get hung-up over semantics.

The tour commences at the Waiting Room in Colchester on 18 July, where the duo makes a welcome return to the town’s Lightbulb Festival. The festival is a curious fixture in the East Anglian cultural calendar; an almost willfully self-sabotaging enterprise, clashing every year with Latitude, the biggest festival of arts and music in the region. It does however, provide a cheap alternative for people who don’t want to fork out £200 for the privilege of listening to Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. Event details here.

After taking nine days off to recover, Kitty and Tye play the Waiting Room on Stoke Newington High Street on 28 July with Emanative & Collocutor Duo (featuring Earl Zinger on vocals and chants). Event details here.
