Don’t miss the antigen records anniversary show – 25 November 2022
The final line-up has been announced for the antigen records anniversary show in Ipswich on 25 November. We have some very special entertainment in store for you, with 5 live acts and DJs until 1am. Including the first live outing for a new Rev Simpkins project and a label legend, lured out of retirement for one last time.
Henry Homesweet – Felixstowe’s very own chiptune legend, for one night only!
Earth Mother Fucker – Ipswich town’s sexagenarian noise rock malcontents, playing all the hits from Bruce MacGregor’s 40 years in the business.
John Callaghan – Our favourite Warp Records refugee brings his unforgettable auto-karaoke show.
Sealionwoman – London vocal + drone duo, who draw listeners into a crepuscular realm where history and myth intersect.
Rev Simpkins: Pissabed Prophet – The holy union of a parish priest from Essex and two members of Dingus Khan. What can possibly go wrong?
The team at The Smokehouse are opening up The Baths at St. Matthew’s Court on Civic Drive in Ipswich to help us celebrate 20-something years of cultural irrelevance and commercial failure, with some of the artists who have made the label what it is today. This iconic venue has played host to legendary figures over the years, including Led Zeppelin, Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks.
Half-price early bird tickets are available for one week at £5 from We Got Tickets until 14 October 2022. After that, tickets are £8 in advance and £10 on the door. Event details here.
