Nathaniel Robin Mann – the new face of Christian Dior?
It’s back to normality after two weeks of live action on the Dingus Khan Deconsecrated Roadshow and the Rory and Ned Fighting Music tour. Normality in this case is Nathaniel Robin Mann in Paris as the new face of Christian Dior and Mick Squalor standing in a garden, smashing pears over his head.
Yes, lock up your supermodels, our bewhiskered chum Nathan has been sighted at the Grand Palais in Paris. He may seem an unlikely choice to front a range of couture pour l’homme and sadly, this opportunity has been denied him. And they have not been scraping his scent glands for his irresistible musk either.
He has been working with long-time collaborator Lara Baladi on an installation for the Miss Dior exhibition, Don’t Touch Me Tomatoes & Chachacha. The project is described by Nathan as, “A bewitching forest enchanted by flickering Youtube sprites that dance across a nine metre semi-circular video projection with 7.1 surround sound.” (Watch an extract below, if you want to)
Nathan is back in the UK and was last spotted heading to Penzance to see a man about a meat cleaver.
