In October 2015, Godspeed You! Black Emperor invited Dead Rat Orchestra to open for them on the six-date UK leg of their European tour. The DRO performed as a duo of Robin Alderton and Nathaniel Mann, joined by Thierry Amar on double bass on the last night of the tour, for a rabble-rousing version of The Black Procession. We are delighted to bring you a live recording, captured on that final night, at the Brighton Dome.
broken springs & death dances is album of 18th century ballads for 21st century professionals, exploring timeless themes of corruption and abuse of power, with songs about stock market manipulation and advice on how to end an inappropriate workplace relationship.
This is a pro-quality desk recording, mastered by Eric James at Philosophers Barn. The CDs are packaged in imported Arigato Paks, with a custom letterpress print by Typoretum.
