Dingus Khan kicks off the summer campaign

Another month passes without a website update – no surprise there. But we’ve been busy behind the scenes, with raft of releases and live events planned for the summer. Kicking off tonight at the Rep in Ipswich, we have Dingus Khan, the Waxing Captors and Rory & Ned on the same bill! A Dingus Khan is a sweaty rock ‘n’ roll behemoth from the Stour Estuary, currently menacing the land on a national tour. Arguably the biggest band ever to emerge from Mistley (there are eight of them) and signed to the influential Fierce Panda Records, (who brought the world Coldplay), the Dingus boys are promoting the re-release of their debut single, the demented murder ballad “Knifey Spoony”.

Rural Suffolk ex-pats Rory and Ned return to their home county to showcase some stripped down, lo-fi garage rock shout-a-longs from their forthcoming album “Fighting Music” – out on antigen in May. And we’re delighted to announce that Ipswich scene veterans the Waxing Captors survived the winter and will be delivering ten years of pop-rock anthems in thirty minutes .

The event runs from 9pm to 2am. First band at approximately 10pm. Admission a paltry £3.
