Dingus Khan failure-to-launch party
It’s been a long wait, but the Dingus Khan 7″ single launch party is finally upon us! However, there will be no single to launch. Unfortunately the pressing plant went bankrupt shortly after sending us the test pressings. So the Adopted single is currently a limited edition of five copies… one of which I have already knackered by dropping a CD case on to it. So, that’s four playable copies.
Never fear, the single is already with a new manufacturer in France and we hope to have a second set of test pressings soon.
The party will go ahead on Friday 2 May at St. Jude’s in Ipswich and will feature a woefully under-rehearsed set by Dingus Khan and the return (against doctor’s advice) of Jack Rundell.
Update: Those who questioned whether we could even fit Dingus Khan into the lounge at St. Jude’s, take note! There was not only enough room for the band, there was enough room for the Ambulance Dance as well.
