Back from the Fringe

John Callaghan has survived three and a half weeks in a cupboard with Miss Hypnotique at the Edinburgh Fringe and has returned to London with his sanity at least partially intact. After a therapeutic cup of tea, he is now well on the way to recovery and is putting the finishing touches to his long awaited second album If Every Day Were Like This One.

This album is an absolutely epic endeavour, several thousand cups of tea in the making. It features a new mix of Loudhailer (made famous on the Fourth Plinth) as well as Once More With Feeling and The Last Three Minutes from his ‘self-disintegrating’ lathe-cut 7″. A few copies of the single are available again from us (or from Norman Records) in a variety of delightful hand-knitted covers, courtesy of the very talented Carol Fuller. And the single will probably not disintegrate for at least 50 plays. More album news very soon!
