Dead Rat Orchestra disinterred for public spectacle

Like the corpses of Cromwell, Ireton and Bradshaw, the Dead Rat Orchetsra? have been exhumed to take part in a grotesque public spectacle for the entertainment of the masses.

They will be performing a substantially reworked live version of their score to James Holcombe’s film, Tyburnia – A Radical History of 600 Years of Public Execution, at venues around the country. They will be joined on all dates by award-winning folk artist Lisa Knapp and director Holcombe, who will utilise six projectors and locally-sourced footage to create a new live cut of the film for each event.

The posthumous execution of Tyburnia will take place on the following dates:
