When the perfectly preserved body of a Paleolithic bog man was discovered on the banks of the Stour estuary in the early Nineties, few people would have believed that it would be possible to extract its DNA and inject it into the unfertilised ovum of a Rhesus macaque. If anyone had said that the resulting hybrid monstrosity would come to term and emerge as Mick Squalor, they would have been scoffed at as a lunatic.
With good reason as it turns out; for Mick Squalor is not the freakish product of science gone mad- he simply looks and behaves that way. It was only a matter of time before his antics led to a page 3 profile in the Independent and ITV camera crews began to follow him in the men’s toilets.
